A. Macdougall & Company offer a custom printed ribbon service. Personalised ribbon is very popular amongst their clients for their versatility of use in promotional ventures. Custom printed ribbon was used by the likes of Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Linked In, Seek and many more.

 

My role firstly included the creation of an enquiry form landing page which really exposed the service to not just the existing client base but to the masses, allowing it to really take off from then.

 

 

A submission would create a lead record in the database whilst also alerting the sales team and I of a new quote request which required action.

 

Dealing with hundreds of various logos gave me a crash course in handling style guidelines where I had to be precise with components such as PMS colouring, logo orientation/layout, scaling and so on. Artwork with very fine lines that then had to be scaled down to fit onto anywhere between 8mm and 50mm ribbon often proved challenging as it required modifying in a way that it showed up clearly on the final product without it being obviously tampered with.
